Project Life February 2018

Here's February. I'm slowly but surely catching up. This was a fun month, Hawaii and Jenn's birthday..YAY!! (although I did catch the flu on the way home from Hawaii but at least I didn't have it WHILE I was there)!

As always....

Project Life January 2018

I am slowly but surely catching up with my Project Life. I still have quite a bit to do from 2017 and I'm going to use the Collect App again to help me with it. I seriously think documenting your photos is SO important. You can zoom the photos by clicking on them.

From the professional memory keeper/artist Heidi Swapp, who lost her teenage son a few years ago to depression and suicide, and who I love and admire...

Because one time we wore green for our family pics...and because i just came across these gems, and its the most lame weather in Utah right now, and even just seeing sun-kissed faces lifts my spirits... but mostly because these photos of my big kids as littles, reminds me of my most precious memories, and greatest blessings... these are almost 12 years ago.. it's kinda just like finding a 4-leaf clover...only better. Memories are everything! Print your photos! Write the stories! Your future self will thank you forever!

Notice I did use the Collect App for January's Project Life?

As always...

Hello...

I'm back!

Once again it's been too long! There is a reason though (this time). I've thought about blogging almost every day for a couple of months now. I had convinced myself that blogs were suppose to have a "theme". Kind of like cooking, traveling, writing or photography etc. And then my dear friend Helen had mentioned she had been hoping to see pictures of our recent trip posted on my blog. Well now, there's someone who looks forward to my random ramblings of my everyday life! Whether I'm knitting, working in my craft room on Project Life, sharing pictures from either a recent trip or flowers, or maybe I've just cooked up something I think is worth sharing, should be a good enough reason for me to continue blogging.
I mean seriously? I think I have maybe 5 followers at most and I'm not looking to enlighten the world on the artful way to sauté onions, or how to take the perfect photograph of a wiggly child. Those that know me, know that's not me. I do like sharing my crafty creations and family stuff though. My little knitted items, my Project Life pages, my craft room, pics of my pets or any other randomness that suits my fancy.

So, I'm back with more random ramblings just because I miss it...

First up, I joined an online workshop about putting your travel photos and ephemera into a travel scrapbook or a mini album etc. There's about a week left to sign up and join and then she will offer it again but not until next year. So if you have travel pics that you'd love to get into an album, here's a link to  Ali Edwards Stories-of Travel workshop. Let me know if you join in, we can collaborate!
