My Baby Girl Turns 30!
A beautiful baby girl was born. Through the years she has grown from a spunky, spitfire-sometimes defiant little girl, to a strong, super funny, compassionate and loving daughter who's beautiful on the inside and out! I couldn't be more proud of her! Happy Birthday my Baby Girl!!!

Viennese Capelet...
Done! I started this back in the summer and then when August hit I realized if I wanted to knit Christmas presents I need to hustle!
If I make another, it will be longer. I probably won't but I would mind turning the pattern into a poncho! Hmmmm.
As always...

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken
Oh my! It was delicious!!
So, I got this recipe from MyFitnessPal and it turned out YUMMY! I'll post the recipe in a sec. One of the ingredients is Smoked Paprika and this gave me an excuse to use the paprika
I got from my friend Bev a couple of months ago (I'm going to have to make a trip to Ohio City and get some more Penzeys since I used the last of it and it IS amazing!).
Baked Honey Mustard Chicken:
Rinse and pat dry chicken and place in glass dish. Season with sea salt & pepper.
In a small bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. Flip each one over a few times to coat it well.
Cook for 45-50 minutes, turning once and basting half way through.
Enjoy!!!

Basement is coming along nicely.....
Last week I posted pics of the framing up in the basement. Since then, the electrical has been wired and the plumbing for both the wet bar and bath. Here's a couple of pics..
Behind this wall will be a small unfinished storage area, kitty litter and the electrical box access. Look beyond that little storage are and that's where the bathroom will be. In the far right is the shower.
I think later this week Harold will start putting up drywall. It's getting there!
As always...
Before electrical wiring and plumbing. |
After. This wall facing me will have an 8' wet bar and the sink will be where you see the plumbing. |
Paul has been stapling the insulation in. |
