What a night!

Ugh!! The stomach flu or virus hit me with a vengeance on Wednesday night. I had just finished watching CSI and my tummy started to bother me. It was around 11:00 and I barely made it to the hall bathroom. From then on, it hit me every couple of hours. Around 1:30 in the morning, I tapped Paul on the shoulder and told him I was sick and would he get me a couple of Ibuprofen. My right side was killing me and I thought that might help with that pain. Well, I kept that down for about 10 minutes! After a couple more times to bathroom, he decided to go out and find a store open all night to get me some Emitrol. So, I took some and I couldn't keep it down for even a minute. What a night!
Paul took yesterday off work to take care of me (what a guy) and in the morning he called the Dr. and the girl on the phone said that if I continued, to let them know and they'd call in a prescription. So, Paul called them early afternoon and they were suppose to call something in..which they didn't! I continued like that until early afternoon. My stomach was hurting for a few more hours and by later last evening I was finally able to eat a pretzel stick and keep that down!

Here I am last night with my lap kitty Mojo. I really think it's the chair he wants though. He's not even my cat but he's making it hard not to become attached..damn cat. I had my son Steve take this picture for my Project Life album..after all-it is called Project LIFE and this is real life LOL! The sad thing for me in all this is that I missed Eric's 34th birthday party at Dave & Busters :( Paul & I will just have to give him his gift this weekend. I heard they all had a great time. Today I'm suppose to watch Logan and Emmy starting around 11:00 but Paul is coming home to do that. I love that man! I'm going to try and take it easy since my torso feels like I've been hit by a truck.

  1. Oh, you poor dear! There's nothing worse than stomach flu. Sounds like you got a double dose!!
Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Your husband is definitely a keeper. What would we do without our spouses? Hang in there!
