Project Life Title Page

I'm thrilled! I finished my Project Life title page today. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, although I had to keep reminding myself that PL is simplifying! I had to refrain from adding more and more embellishments. It took A LOT for me to leave the bottom right block as simple as I did. I guess I'm going to try and embrace this year long project as it is meant to be... to use journaling and photos to tell the story of the life of the Loescher family in 2012. These are going to be the photos that although I treasure them, they don't warrant and/or I don't want to scrap a whole page about them.  A photo journal is what it's going to be and I'm excited for this amazing journey to begin...

Jenn came by and asked me "why did you use such an old photo of us"? I told her it was the only one I had of the 3 of them together. So, she told me they had a great picture of them all at Eric's on New Years Eve...

Silly me! I was thinking of some kind of family portrait of my kids. This one actually shows their true personalities LOL!! I love my family...my family rocks!!

  3. Val I LOVE your title page. The digital elements are so awesome. I hope to be as good as this one day as you. And hey, I struggle too with leaving things be. I am a dimensional embellishments girl, but you are so right - this is about the pictures and the journaling. Thanks for the inspiration I found here tonight! ~ Sabrina
