Project Life Week 1

Yay! Done with week one although I'm about 5 days late LOL. It's okay though since this is a learning process and two things I learned this week are, I really do dislike my own handwriting (which I kind of already knew) and that my daughter Jenn loves it! While she was looking at my PL album last night, I mentioned I was going to replace the journaling cards (which I did) with cards printed from my computer instead of my hand journaling. She said "why? I love your handwriting..it's you. It's my mom's". Hmmm, I might have to re-think this. Maybe I can use my own handwriting in my PL Album and use the computer for my layouts. My layouts are more art focused whereas my PL is more stories, memorabilia, anecdotes and everyday life experiences.
So, here is week 1:

  1. I love your pages! very nice, and you took some wonderful photographs to capture your week! I especially like how you added the little bits of bling, stickers, etc. to 'jazz up' the pre-designed cards a bit. ...mind if I steal that idea?!? :)

  2. These are wonderful! I will agree with Jenn - your handwriting should be an important part of your book. I HATE mine but hope that someday my kids and/or grandkids will look at it and know it was mine.
PS: I recently found out my writing is very similar to my grandmother's...who knew! :)

  4. Valerie your first week turned out great! I too am not terribly fond of my handwriting but I am forcing myself to write some of the journaling. I figure one day I will appreciate that I did it this way. Hey - what is the name of the font you used for Peggy's name? I love it!
